I approach my life and my work with a great deal of gratitude and patience. I am grateful for the many opportunities that come my way, and I cultivate patience to see the good that eventually arises from any situation.

MY BACKGROUND AND WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

As a former practicing attorney and head of marketing and business development for a large firm, I am able to see the world from my clients’ perspective. I approach my work with clients with firsthand experience of the practical realities of life in a firm.

HOW I CAME TO AKINA

I became a partner at Akina after having been a client of the firm. During my time as a client, I learned that Akina’s methodologies and the firm’s approach to serving clients aligned perfectly with my own. Joining the firm was the ideal next step at the right time.

FUN FACTS

My husband and I were married on Maui, and our gift to each other every year is an anniversary trip. Our trips have taken us across the country and around the globe, and dreaming about where to go next is one of our favorite pastimes.

FREE TIME

My first priority in my free time is enjoying my relationships with family and friends. I especially relish the simple pleasures of talking, laughing and eating with those I love.
